The Puppy Stop has been selling premium puppies in Coral Springs from private breeders to all of South Florida since 1996. But the story of our store, how and where we get our puppies and the quality behind our ten-year warranty begins long before then.

Throughout the 1980's and early 1990's, we had good friends who lived right here in Coral Springs and were breeding their puppies. As we loved puppies, we would take some of these puppies into our home to help sell them. Within a few years, our friends decided to buy land in Oklahoma, and move out there so they could devote more time to breeding. Every few months, we would drive to Oklahoma, pick up a litter or two, bring them back to South Florida and sell them. Hence, our first private breeder.

Although we did this out of love for puppies and the fun of having them, we couldn't help but notice the business opportunity at hand. How great we thought it would be if we could find a store that sold only these types of dogs -- healthy ones, from reputable private breeders. However, the idea didn't really go anywhere because you can't have a business with only one breeder.

So, we continued bringing in just a few litters each year. But the idea always persisted. It was truly what we wanted to do, so we decided to go after it. We took some time off to go and stay with our old friends in Oklahoma. Over time, they introduced us to other trustworthy "Mom and Pop" breeders nearby. Some of them even had relatives in other states practicing private breeding. We visited them all and did our research -- and finally decided to go into business in Coral Springs, Florida, buying our puppies exclusively from this circle of breeders.

The rest is history. Since 1996, we have been providing the people of Coral Springs, Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and the rest of South Florida with high quality pups from private breeders at affordable prices. We have access to many breeds, including Terriers, Retrievers, Poodles, Shih-Tzus, Yorkies, Dachshunds, Maltese and Chihuahuas -- most everything from Akitas to toy breeds. We offer the best warranty in the business, bar none. And we offer it with the utmost in confidence because we, and now you, know where our dogs are coming from.
